Amy Munsey has been a Real Estate Professional since 2009. She is a Seattle native who moved to Portland in 1991, worked in engineering, and started selling Real Estate. She is licensed in Oregon and California.

Amy purchased her first home when she was 19. During that process, she fell in love with buying and selling real estate.

Before entering Real Estate full time, Amy earned her degree in Political Science, worked as a mechanical designer in construction engineering for 22 years, traveled a bit, and completed three Master Degree programs in Political Science, Conflict Resolution, and Adult Education. Amy considers her decision to become a full-time Real Estate professional an excellent one. She enjoys assisting her clients as they meet their goals: their delight is her happiness.

Amy's super power is honoring the abilities of others. She believes every person has a story and because of that, they possess incredible experience and ability. Her attitude toward her clients stems directly from this belief—their desires are her directive.

Amy's idea of a perfect day in Portland, Oregon is lunching at Petite Provence on Alberta and shopping for fabric at Bolt, followed by a hike on the Wildwood Trail in Forest Park. And then, sewing while listening to Ira Glass' 'This American Life' podcasts.

I recently completed a very difficult transaction and Amy was a huge asset to have on my team. There were some tough issues for me to think about. Amy went so far as to tell me that if it were her, she would not buy it. That took integrity as she was the one what would lose out on a nice commission. I’d highly recommend that you give her a chance to help you with your property as that is what she will do. She not a body that just does as little as possible. She’s the real thing. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Without Amy’s bulldog tenacity, our land purchase never would have happened. We both thank Amy Munsey very much for all of her help.

Thank you Amy for your dedication and resourcefulness in finding [me] the perfect house! Your cheerful demeanor lifted [my] spirits in the crazy days and kept [me] focused. [I] couldn’t have done it without you.

Amy was our real estate agent. She helped our family sell our home and also find our new home. Amy went out of her way to do everything necessary to make us happy and feel as comfortable as possible throughout the process. It can be a very stressful time in your life and without her I don’t think that the process would have been possible. We went through many different emotions and mind changes and through it all she stuck by us, wanting what was best for our family, not her commission.
Amy is a very hard worker and extremely dedicated to her clients. She was always a phone call away with any question we had. She would go out of her way to print and deliver papers to us in order to meet the deadline in place. She was on the ball to make sure that all inspections were done and we were never blind-sided by anything. The best thing about our time with Amy as our real estate agent is we made a great friend who we know still has our back to this day if we ever need help.

Amy is a competent, energetic, caring and enthusiastic real estate professional. She responds quickly, she communicates well, and she helps coordinate all the different aspects of a challenging real estate transaction. She’s on YOUR side, and she doesn’t rest until the deal is done. I appreciate her ability to deal with a variety of people, and her willingness to put aside her own preferences and focus on what the client wants.

I really appreciated how Amy took the time to understand what was important to me in the home buying process. She partnered with me so that I was able to get into the property I wanted and feel confident about the process. After experiencing Amy’s off-the-charts focus on service, combined with her real estate expertise, professional integrity and continuous client advocacy, I will not use any other agent in the future.

As an investor and a homeowner, I’ve bought and sold over a dozen homes, in different markets, and with varying levels of complexity. In all those years and through all those transactions, I’ve never met a realtor as professional, competent and knowledgeable as Amy. She is 100% focused on her client, their needs and circumstances, and on providing prompt, professional advice at every step of the buying or selling process. We’ve done both with Amy. She is highly responsive, helps the client to anticipate what is needed next, and puts a lot of energy and strategic thinking into every deal, whether your deal is worth $100,000 or $3,000,000. It is about you. It is about holding high integrity and delivering value. Amy knows the market, the players, and has an impressive network of partners (other agents, mortgage brokers, insurers, contractors, city/county agencies, etc.). They love to work with her and, therefore, go the extra mile for you. She knows about engineering, architecture, craftsmanship, masonry, local history, and a myriad of other disciplines that prove to be invaluable as you make decisions about marketing, selling, or buying a property. When I refer Amy to my friends and colleagues, I’m sharing something special that will really make a difference in their lives, and it has!

Amy made the purchase of my first home a piece of cake. She’s an excellent communicator, very tech-savvy, knows the market well, and most importantly, knows how to get things done quickly. I’d recommend her highly to anyone looking for a buyer’s agent. Thank you, Amy!
